As another upgraded feature, the DJ Scan 250 HP offers now selectable fast and slow built-in programs to use when not operating the unit from a standard DMX-512 controller. Also featuring a new plastic case design, the DJ Scan 250 HP weighs a full pound less than its predecessor, making it even more practical for mobile applications. The new model also features the same lightweight electronic transformer as the original DJ Scan 250, say American DJ.
