UK - The HSL Group exhibited at ABTT for the second year, reflecting the growing importance of theatre and performing arts markets for the company, one of the busiest and fastest growing lighting rental operations in the UK. HSL highlighted its experience in the theatrical world and its wide equipment inventory.

The company says it has built its reputation on progressive thinking, the provision of innovative solutions, efficient and dedicated service, quality equipment and experienced designers, engineers and technicians to a diverse range of projects. HSL's work encompasses theatre, live events, concert tours, festivals, television productions, corporate presentations, son et lumières, spectaculars, parties and special events of all types.

The company has a comprehensive stock of the latest lighting technology from all the leading industry manufacturers and brands. Items are maintained to the highest standards, including all relevant certification - PAT testing, motor certification, truss inspections, rigging registry of all lifting equipment, fire certification of drapes, current heath and safety policy, risk assessments and method statements and public liability.

Once again at ABTT, HSL sponsored the Bar on the mezzanine level of the Lawrence Hall throughout the show. "In recognition of the vital cultural significance of socializing, which is an essential element of the industry in which we live and work and for which we have ultimate passion," explains Mike Oates.

HSL is currently supplying full lighting production to national tours including This is Elvis (LD Ben P Cracknall) and Blood Brothers (LD Nick Richings). This includes several different brands of moving light - from Robe Show Lighting, Vari*Lite and Martin Professional.
