Only six or eight places are available for each course, with a maximum of two people per desk, so each student will get plenty of hands on use. All the courses are free and include lunch.
Introduction to Ion and Introduction to Eos courses being held in mid January, February and March both teach the basics and nuances of these control systems. Students will learn to programme conventional and moving lights, work with palletised data, groups and submasters, and learn to create cues and use effects.
If you are about to become a Congo or Congo jr user, you can learn to use those desks in a hands-on, user-friendly environment with a two day introductory course at the end of November and beginning of January, February and March. For the first time, more advanced training sessions are available, and these take place in mid January, February and March, exploring the power of Congo v5 in depth and covering editing dynamic effects, working with visualisation software, connecting to media servers, synchronised backup and more.

If, however, you're not near London but would still like to get training on your control system, group sessions may be arranged at your theatre or venue by contacting ETC via email at trainingUK@etcconnect.com or by phone on +44 (0)20 8896 1000.
