FBT MITUS is a comprehensive and flexible range of powered and passive line arrays for live sound touring and permanent installs. At this year's PLASA focus, FBT is showing its new additions to the existing MITUS range. These include the MITUS 215A (double 15" LF and 2" HF driver/horn), and the MITUS 152A (single 15" with 2" driver/horn) - both of which are available in active and passive formats, and the MITUS 218 SA (double 18" active bass reflex sub).
All MITUS active speakers feature 2-way, bi-amplified, switch mode power supply, DSP with 8 EQ presets, birch plywood enclosure, scratch resistant black paint finish, control panel with XLR input and link, volume, presets, ground-lift, multiple M10 fly points and two FBT design aluminium handles.
FBT's new StageMaxX has been inspired by the need to have a product specifically designed and engineered for use as stage monitor. In doing so, FBT has overcome the shortcomings of traditional wedges where wooden monitors are heavy and bulky, and plastic enclosures suffer from poor quality and response.
The heavy-duty and resonance-free polypropylene cabinet is born from FBT's enormous experience in gas injected moulding which has resulted in a cabinet that behaves acoustically like a wooden cabinet whilst allowing the perfect integration of all components for an uncompromising quality in a compact, elegant, unobtrusive, and easy to carry product.
High quality voice reproduction and music performance, normally associated with indoor systems, is now available for outdoor use, with the Shadow series of speaker cabinets., says the company.
This family of all weather products provides the system designer with a solution for the widest range of applications, from sports fields to stadia, as well as theme parks, swimming pools, restaurants, and any environment that demands the highest quality speech and music reproduction, combined with product durability.
FBT's all weather speakers provide long term reliability for both temporary and permanent outdoor installations and are manufactured to the stringent requirements of International Protection Rating IP 55.
