The XS4 loudspeaker handles 40W RMS and utilises a 1-inch dome and 4-inch mid/bass driver, coupled via a complex crossover with integrated dynamic protection circuit for driver protection. The slightly larger XS6 offers the same configuration but with a 6-inch mid bass unit, which extends low frequency and increases power handling to 100W RMS. Both systems use NL4 Speakon connectors and are offered as standard with a black or white textured paint finish.
The textured paint models will continue and are now joined by the new piano-gloss finish versions, also available in black or white as standard. The high gloss finish carries a modest premium of 30 EUR on the XS4 and 50 EUR on the XS6. These premiums are MSRP ex VAT.
In addition to high gloss black and white, which are available from stock, t&m Systems will supply XS4 and XS6 loudspeakers with the high gloss finish in other RAL colours to order, with no minimum quantity. They will also quote for supplying the piano finish on other loudspeakers in the t&m Systems range on request.
"Their compact size, discrete style and audio quality have made the XS4 and XS6 popular for many applications where interior designers were looking for something more than a standard loudspeaker colour and finish, either to merge in or to stand out and make a design statement", said Kai Boeckmann of t&m Systems. "The piano finish lifts the XS4 and XS6 to a new level for aesthetics".
Previewed on the Trius booth at Pro Light + Sound in Frankfurt, the new models are available now.
