The new ZMR-80 modular zoner mixer has been designed for those applications where accurate and reliable control of audio sources being fed to different zones is needed. Suitable for use in theme parks, public buildings, hotels and entertainment venues the ZMR-80 features a modular construction format that enables it to be configured to suit many different types of requirement.
The ZMR-80's 19" 4RU chassis can house up to 11 different modules. These can include up to four input modules, up to six output modules, a power supply module and an optional paging module. This enables it to handle between two and eight input sources and feed them to between two and 12 output zones. Paging to any or all zones is possible via the paging module.
The FSM8 Plus is a compact, easy to operate, 8-channel mixer with a wide range of facilities, says the company. The ability to configure these facilities in many different ways makes this a highly flexible and versatile unit that is able to suit many different applications.
The 'Plus' designation signifies that this unit retains all the elements which made its predecessor so successful but also boasts a number of important new features. These include the ability to connect microphones to channels five and six (allowing up to six mics to be accommodated), a new auxiliary bus output for connection to external effects units, plus the addition of both headphone and mic sockets to the front panel to increase the mixer's ease of use.
