Germany / India - The distribution of HK Audio products in India will now be handled exclusively by Dhanashree Electronics. This firm is part of the well established Toshniwal Group of Companies, a family business which has long been active in the Indian market in several industries. Dhanashree Electronics' primary areas of operation until now have been in the manufacture and marketing of electronic components and industrial lighting; distributing professional audio equipment represents an expansion of their business into new territory.

Abhishek Toshniwal, marketing & business development director of Dhanashree Electronics, comments: "Adding professional audio equipment to our distribution network was our next logical step. We have been having more and more contact with PA rental firms and installation companies, and we've been wanting to expand our product portfolio in order to offer our customers complete solutions. To this end, we've added new staff with expertise in the pro audio arena."

Calvin Baker, head of business of Dhanashree's audio division, adds: "After an intensive evaluation of the opportunities in the pro audio market, we decided to take on distribution of HK Audio, since this brand is known worldwide for its quality and for its very broad spectrum of products for practically every application. We want to offer the Indian market new innovative solutions with excellent sound quality and attractive pricing - and HK Audio is a perfect match to what we were looking for. In addition to HK, we recently became the distributor for MC² power amplification, enabling us to offer excellent package solutions to our customers. As we move forward we'll be adding other brands to our programme as well."

Christian Stumpp, head of international sales concert sound /install sound at HK Audio, comments: "Until now we really haven't had much of a presence in India, but lately we've been receiving more and more inquiries from distributors and rental firms here, including Dhanashree Electronics.
