UK - As pre-registrations for The ABTT Theatre Show reach record levels in excess of 20% higher than previous years, the show will feature an array of new products that will premiere at this year's showcase.

The list of companies taking stands at ABTT 2010 covers the spectrum of products and services for the theatre production and staging market, with a strong showing from the engineering sector, but also from the sound and lighting fraternity.

Among the companies launching new products is lighting control manufacturer Avolites with two additions to its range - the white Expert Titan with Touch Wing and the Pearl Tiger Touch. Also returning to the show is MA lighting, showcasing its MA2 Light and Ultralight consoles.

New exhibitor SGM will give pride of place to a range of new fixtures with a strong theatre application, including its Ribalta Full Color, the Idea Moving Led 100 and 300 moving heads and SGM will highlight the latest in its Giotto range, Gioto Spot 700. London Light Production Services is exhibiting for the first time to raise awareness of its services offered to the theatre and events industry, including lighting design, production, equipment hire and sales of integrated AV and lighting systems.

LEE Filters returns to the show to showcase its new Urban Effects Filters. These allow you to create the look of Sodium lighting with either a Tungsten or Daylight source. These new colours give a dirty, gritty feel to existing light sources that has previously been difficult to achieve, says the company.

Celebrating 100 years in the theatre industry, stalwart exhibitors Rosco will showcase its colour filter range along with its wide range of glass and metal gobos, motion effects units including its I-Cue lighting fixture and iPro image projector. Plus Rosco's rage of stage and set products will be displayed including scenic paints and coatings, and props such as breakaways, candles, mirrors, fabrics and glitter.

New exhibitor Dutch winch, under-stage and control systems specialist Trekwerk, presents its 3D TNM Software and SynchroPoint, which have both been tried and tested in London's Olivier Theatre at the National Theatre. Long standing exhibitor, Lift Turn Move will present its extensive range of lifting and rigging equipment, including the LoadGuard and its Guardian Motion Controllers.

Belgium based ShowTex is another new exhibitor introducing its new curtain track motor with DMX compatibility. Designed to provide extra control and flexibility to FOH, the system is compatible with all major track systems.

Mayr Transmissions will highlight products from its market leading range of safety brakes, torque limiters and shaft couplings, including two new additions - the ROBA-secustop and the ROBA-quatrostop.

Rope Assemblies are joining forces with Hoist UK at the show, and will premiere the new Twist and Double Nut Maillon Rapides, whilst Hoist UK highlights its wide range of equipment and services, which put 'Safety Above All'.

Stage Track Engineering Services is exhibiting its new Easy Track and Easy Track Lite, which feature interchangeable parts between the two tracks making it a flexible option for multi-purpose venues.

Returning for their second show, Prompt Side and Image Fabrication specialises in supplying quality bespoke drapery and photo quality printed textiles to the theatre, entertainment TV, events and arts industries. Taking a larger stand this year, the company will showcase even more textiles, print examples and techniques.

Maltbury returns to the show and showcases its Budget Stage Kits that are designed to suit every budget and space. Plus a new Bespoke design and consultation service will be launched as will the new Backdrape - a simple to assemble aluminium adjustable frame with great quality wool serge drapes.

The ABTT Theatre Show takes place at the Royal Horticultural Halls in London on 16 and 17 June.
