The Elements PA system range from HK Audio
UK - John Hornby Skewes & Co, the exclusive UK and Eire trade distributors for HK Audio's professional sound reinforcement brand, has announced the availability of the Elements PA system range.

Using just six individual components, or 'elements', the user can configure a system for anything from a small conference PA, to a full band stage rig. The entire system is quick and simple to set up, due to the innovative, cable-free internal E-Connect coupler, says the company.

The system starts with the E435 Mid/High unit. Made of extruded aluminium and engineered with line array technology, up to four of these mid/high units can be powered by the similarly designed EA600. This is a 600 watt, Class-D power amp, which can also be used to power either two mid high units and a passive subwoofer, or two subwoofers.

Bass response is provided by the E110 subs. This easy to transport 10" subwoofer delivers, tight, low ranging bass performance and is available in active or passive versions, with the active model benefiting from an onboard 600 watt Class-D power amp that can also power two mid/high units or a passive subwoofer. Equipped with two E-Connect ports the active sub can be placed horizontally or vertically to provide a base for further components, through the EP1 speaker pole which also carries the aforementioned E-Connect coupler - which means no more speaker cables.

For those situations such as a small conference, when subwoofers are unnecessary, the EF45 Base can be used to accommodate the mid/high units, amp module and mounting pole. Retractable and extendable feet ensure the elements sit on a stable, secure platform.

All these 'elements' can be brought together in multiple set-ups. The basic power amp and mid/high unit set up is ideal for conferences or small solo performer gigs, whilst the powerful full-band configuration provides serious 3600 watts, that can handle most live venues, and yet remains compact enough to fit into one normal-sized car.
