Joe Kurta returns as chief technical officer
USA - Peavey Commercial Audio, a division of Peavey Electronics, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Joe Kurta as chief technical officer.

An experienced technical architect and professional audio designer, Joe rejoins the Mississippi-based company, having previously served as a systems integration specialist at the turn of the millennium. In addition, Joe has acquired a wealth of experience in key positions at leading blue chip organizations including Walt Disney Entertainment and Bank of America.

Joe is also highly experienced in Peavey's MediaMatrix brand, having formed and managed his own successful audio system and consultancy business, TechSpa. He has over 20 years' knowledge of professional audio technology, its requirements and its possibilities and the appointment is a strong indicator of Peavey's commitment to its Commercial Audio division.

Joe says, "To the professional audiophile, Peavey is a name that is renowned the world over as a brand that leads the way. Their MediaMatrix brand, for example, pioneered technology over 20 years ago that is still used today. Products from the Crest portfolio are also known for being the definition of 'professional' audio - so I am thrilled to rejoin Peavey Commercial Audio and I look forward to great things to come."

Peavey Commercial Audio GM Kevin Ivey adds, "We are delighted to welcome Joe Kurta back to the Peavey family. Joe has since gained decades of experience in professional audio products and installations, designing audio systems for some of the world's biggest companies. We are thrilled to have Joe bring his expertise back and to lead our product development and design as the CTO of Peavey Commercial Audio."
