LoadGuard hoists are available in capacities from 250kg to 5 tonnes, they are available as standard rigging hoists and hoists to higher safety standards- for example the British Hoisting Entertainment Standard BS 7906: Part 1, Category A, and the German Standards BGV D8 Plus or BGV C1 (VPLT SR 2.0) - all of these standards allow some form of load positioning and holding without secondary suspension to support the load.
The hoist comes in modular form, allowing standard hoists to be ordered now for retrofitting later with special components to meet present or future higher integrity standards. The big feature of these hoists are that the clutch is not in the drive train meaning that clutch wear will not compromise the safety of the load.
LTM offers spare parts for hoists plus repairs and routine servicing, staff are fully trained in both standard and higher integrity equipment and offer honest advice at all stages of a project.
LTM manufactures control systems and have constructed systems for both direct and low voltage controlled hoists. Units are offered from stock to suit many applications. These are available as movable flight cased units, brief case type units and wall mounted systems for permanent installations. A briefcase packaged controller has recently been launched for both direct control and low voltage controlled hoists.
In response to client demands to buy from a single source, LTM became a stocking agent for the Litestructures range of LitePro 290, 390 and 520 Professional Range of Truss on 1 January 2009. Examples of the range will be available for demonstration.
Also on show will be an extended range of hand winches, as previewed in the company's recent catalogue and usage guide.< P>(Jim Evans)
