dbn's project manager Nick Buckley oversaw the operation to light the main stage, which was headlined by I Am Kloot, Richard Hawley and Sinead O'Connor and enjoyed by 6500 people across the weekend. dbn also provided lighting and effects kit for two smaller stages.

The Main Stage lighting design was based on last year's very successful format and the need to accommodate multiple genres of music and performance as well as presenting a set up that was straightforward, flexible and versatile enough for any visiting LDs to work with.

GLP's Udo Künzler and Mark Ravenhill have supplied the college with six Impression90 LED moving heads on a long term loan. Robe and LumenRadio have been working closely for a long period of time. With more and more customers requiring a trustworthy wireless DMX/RDM system to use alongside the Robin products in the Czech and Slovakian markets, the new cooperation was a natural step.

For the first time at PLASA, LSC will be showing a Clarity LX900 console. The flagship of the family, the LX900 was first released in December 2012 and many venues across the world have already installed these units. All LX consoles operate on Clarity software which was first released in 2009 for PC and Mac and the LX900 on show will be running version 2 of this software demonstrating all its new features. Gray lit two high profile off-site shows - Jasper Conran at the Saatchi Gallery and Roksanda at The Place, London Bridge - for London Fashion Week SS14 last week using MMX WashBeams.

It was the first time Gray has used Robe moving lights in his fashion work - he is also the LD for rockers Kasabian, comedian Eddie Izzard and is an internationally exhibited video and light artist.

Gray has been wanting to incorporate moving lights on his fashion projects for some time, but feels that the appropriate fixtures have only recently become available.
