Ian McCarthy, managing director of MC2 Audio, told us: "This year's PLASA was one of the busiest yet and gave us the opportunity to showcase the E Series to our overseas and UK visitors. I was very happy with the way the exhibition went and particularly with the highly positive response we had from everyone to the new amps. I had a tight schedule of meetings with customers and new enquirers throughout the show, whilst Terry [Clarke - McCarthy's fellow director] was kept busy with explaining the technical details of the new amps. I am also delighted that demand for both the T Series and original MC range amplifiers remains very strong."
The first models in the E Series, the E25 (1250W/channel into 4 ohms) and E15 (750W/channel into 4 ohms) are available now and the series will be expanded with a bigger amp (2000+W/channel into 4 ohms), also in a 2U chassis, later this year. All MC2 Audio products are covered by a five-year warranty.
