McMillin is a hugely experienced sound engineer with over 30 years of top flight experience under his belt. He has toured the world many times over with major rock acts such as Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Dio, Whitesnake, Souxsie and The Banshees and Suzanne Vega. "The last nine years have been spent touring worldwide with Deep Purple," explains Moray. "That was a wonderful experience as innovation and quality of sound is very important to the band. Consequently, I was given the opportunity to investigate line array technology using V-Dosc very early on. From that point, I became a confirmed line array enthusiast and one of the first certified V-Dosc engineers in the UK."
"As a result of HK Audio's involvement with Deep Purple, I helped with the design of the company's Cohedra line array from the end-user's point of view, certainly in terms of ease of handling and flying the system. I've been involved ever since."
Now 'officially' retired from touring, McMillin is enthusiastic about his new position with JHS, commenting: "I'm delighted to be joining JHS, doubly so as it allows me to maintain a very positive association with HK Audio."
