Celebrated saxophonist Sarah Underwood
China - The Meyer Sound stand at PALM EXPO China promises to be a bustling hub of activity, with demonstrations of the Constellation acoustic system alongside an extensive display of advanced audio technologies. Meyer Sound will also make a corporate announcement that will be "of critical interest to audio professionals in the region".

For the first time at a trade show in China, Meyer Sound will present demonstrations of the Constellation acoustic system. Featuring celebrated saxophonist Sarah Underwood, the live demos will reveal how advanced digital processing, working in conjunction with arrays of precision microphones and linear loudspeakers, can transform a performance space into acoustical environments ranging from an intimate theatre to a cavernous cathedral.

At the heart of Constellation is the new D-Mitri digital audio platform, a flexible suite of hardware and software components that provide the ultimate in networked mixing, matrixing, DSP and show control.

For the installation market, a range of self-powered low-voltage solutions will be featured, including the (four-inch-square faceplate) MM-4XP self-powered miniature loudspeaker shown in a palette of custom colours. Meyer Sound's system integration tools including the Galileo loudspeaker management system and MAPP Online Pro acoustical prediction programme will also be available.
