Long-standing Millbank distributor, Ram-Tel, headed by Zvi Zeif, has deployed the DSPacs as part of a significant upgrade of the public address system in the Al Aqsa Mosque. As one of the world's most famous and oldest Mosques, it is visited by millions of tourists and religious pilgrims every year.
Re-built into its present form in 1033 AD, the Al Aqsa Mosque is situated at the southernmost point of the Noble Sanctuary - Al Haram al Sharif which, comprising over 35 acres of fountains, gardens, buildings and domes, represents one sixth of the walled city of Jerusalem. Manufactured to the high specifications at Millbank's Macclesfield HQ, the DSPac's compact design offers high power-density VA compliant solutions and 84% Class D amplifier efficiency. As a flexible 3U modular system it is considerably configurable and is simple to install - straight out of the box. In addition its "self-monitoring" module automatically detects if an amplifier is not functioning and immediately substitute its back up module.
Ram-Tel's Zvi Zeif commented: "We've distributed Millbank products for many years as the brand has consistently offered quality and innovative designs. The DSPac amplifiers are no exception, they are very simple to install and offer space saving capabilities and the flexibility to augment and expand a system very easily. The added bonus is that it is simple to operate even for non-technical users. We are very confident that we will be installing the DSPac's as the work horse of many future installations."
To further augment Millbank's international presence, the company is exhibiting at the Frankfurt ProLight+Sound exhibition in March 2004, where the DSPac will be showcased along with other new Millbank products.
