Another new member of the Cohedra family is rental company Ifara. Owner Francisco Medina Regalado recently invested in a Cohedra Compact system consisting of 16 CDR 108 C mid/high units, eight CDR 210 C subwoofers, plus accompanying flying hardware and PR 8 amp racks. "For us, the flexibility of the system at small and medium-sized events was extremely important," said Regalado. "Our Cohedra Compact system is configured in such a way that we can use either one big flown system with eight mid/high units per side, or two smaller systems that are either flown or ground-stacked. We often collaborate with Sound Black; we use their system for larger events and they use our Cohedra Compact if they need some extra equipment for smaller shows. But the way things have been going, our good reputation has increased so quickly thanks to our Cohedra Compact system that we keep getting more and more orders for larger and larger events. As a result, in August we are planning to increase our inventory by adding eight more CDR 108 C mid/high units as well as additional subwoofers and amp racks."
