The latest software revision for the Digital Snake is now available. Version 1.5 enables remote control of pre-amp gain, pad, phantom power and memories from your Yamaha M7 or PM series desk. A converter from RS-232 to RS-422 is required.
New to the UK are the latest AR series announcement recorders, comprising the AR-3000R, AR-200R and AR-200S. Utilising Compact flash as the recording medium, the latest AR series incorporates not only hi-fi quality audio but up to 24 hours of record time in announcement mode. Editing of waveforms and message assembly is integrated, and cards can be exchanged from one unit to another.
Control is either RS-232, direct connection, binary or MIDI and is available on all units. The AR-3000R can be controlled, and have its play-lists updated remotely using TCP/IP from the optional AR-NT1 expansion board.
RSS have enlisted the help of Star Draw Control to include the RS-232 protocols for the new AR series recorders in the latest version of their software. All users of Star Draw Control will automatically receive the update and any AR owners should download and check out this latest collaboration. Some demo templates will be made available for download from RSS website.
