Describing it as 'the ultimate background music tool", Ohm is showing its BootiQue all in one background music system at PLASA 2011.

The BootiQue sub, says Ohm, holds all the tricks, providing an arsenal of inputs including RCA (Phono), iPod (line in jack) and a USB port. More than one BootiQue system can be linked together, creating zones using the RCA link. The onboard three-channel amplifier powers the 10" bass driver and all eight satellites, making this system a true all in one solution.

Worried about fire regulations? A fire alarm mute connector ensures compliance with regulations for peace of mind. Independent controls are provided for master, bass and mid high volume parameters, enabling the right balance of sound to be achieved throughout a venue. The rear control panel includes essential functions such as ground lift, polarity reverse, input gain, sub/sat EQ and auto power off switch. This setting will turn the entire system off if no audio is detected. The venue can be closed up for the day and the audio player stopped in standby mode. On reopening and connecting the audio player, the system will turn itself back on again. For added safety, a convenient off switch is provided on the remote faceplate, which can be located anywhere in a room.

To add more versatility to the package, the remote face plate (connected to the sub via CAT-5) can be placed anywhere in the venue, combining all inputs on the rear of the subwoofer to the chosen location. Control of the system is enhanced by the remote control which boasts an array of functions such as play, pause, track toggle, EQ selection from six presets, input selector, volume and on/off control. The IR sensor on the face plate allows seamless coverage for the remote control within the given zone.

The BootiQue system is completed by up to eight high gloss piano black or white satellite speakers, small 140 mm cubes, making them both discrete and stylish. This number of satellite speakers ensures even coverage every corner of a venue with high quality sound. The system has been designed to compliment the most sophisticated of interiors and, as its name suggests, it is ideal for distributed sound in boutiques, bars, lounge areas, foyers and home cinema.
