Packed aisles and major UK product debuts have firmly established PLASA Focus as an unmissable industry event for the north of England, and this year organiser PLASA Events is promising more new products and more opportunities for professional development. In total, 130 brands will exhibit across two halls and details of a new two-day Professional Development Programme, which is free to attend, are set to be announced in early 2012.
Events manager Sophie Atkinson comments, "Last year's highlights included the art of mixing a show with renowned sound engineer Dave Swallow, and the story behind the renovation of the RSC's theatres in Stratford-upon-Avon. Next year we'll be bringing you some of the region's most exciting projects, presented by some of the industry's most talented people. Watch this space."
Two thousand members of the North's renowned entertainment technology community are expected to attend the event in April. The usual friendly and informal format will remain, with plenty of opportunity to meet new people and network over the famous PLASA Focus free lunch. Register for free now to receive big announcements in the weeks ahead. Exhibitors wishing to take part can join a short waiting list by contacting David Westbrooke at PLASA Events.
