UK - At this year’s PLASA Show, on stand D4, Data Strategy will showcase QC-Check’s integration with SimplyPATS, a software programme that specialises in providing the download of data from over 50 PAT Testers.
This integration was developed to allow QC-Check to import into its database the test results from other manufacturers’ Portable Appliance Testers. It offers the facility to use the powerful QC-Check database to selectively filter equipment requiring a test into manageable chunks of data and download it to the client testers.

Europe - DPA Microphones and KLANG:technologies have teamed up to create a system that will enable live event teams to immerse singers and musicians in their on-stage performances. The solution integrates DPA’s 5100 Mobile Surround Microphone and KLANG’s Immersive Mixing Processor. Europe - Yamaha has announced new additions to its line-up of professional audio speakers, the powered DHR series and passive CHR series, each with three models optimized to ‘meet the demands of a variety of sound reinforcement applications’.
Positioned between the flagship DZR / CZR series and the popular, affordable DBR / CBR series, all DHR and CHR units feature custom transducers, premium plywood cabinets and a tough polyurea coating.
The DHR15 and CHR15 two-way, 15-inch units are designed for front of house applications, including dual angle pole mount sockets, M10 rigging options and excellent full range performance.
The DHR12M and CHR12M are Yamaha’s first dedicated coaxial 12" floor monitors, delivering precise, phase coherent monitoring in a low-profile form factor. A side pole-mount adds flexible use as an outfill or a portable main PA unit.
