China - PR Lighting has announced two marine-grade, IP66-rated moving heads: the 3-in-1 AQUA Marine 580 BWS and AQUA Marine 580 Beam.
Thanks to the double-layer coating of the chassis and PR's sealing system, both AQUA Marine 580 fixtures can provide ‘superior resistance to a wider range of corrosive media, making them ideal for use on projects close to the seashore or in sea water’.
Housing either a Philips MSD Platinum 25 R lamp or Osram Sirius HRI 550W XL, both the AQUA Marine 580 BWS (PR-2596) and AQUA Marine 580 Beam (PR-2568) are fully featured. Designed to create horizontal or vertical line-source arrays and featuring a simple yet rapid rigging system, VIO C offers flexible coverage options as well as powerful acoustic performance.
The series encompasses three enclosures housing premium neodymium components. The whole series is equipped with latest generation 1600 W RMS Class D Amp module Digipro G4 driving a powerful DSP and allowing each system to deliver impressive SPL (139 dB for VIO C12, 140 dB for VIO C15, and 141 dB for VIO C212).

USA - At the 2020 NAMM Show, professional power amplifier manufacturer Powersoft announced a major update to its ArmoníaPlus audio system management software.
The latest update, available now, features a redesigned monitoring environment, Health+ (pronounced ‘Health Plus’), which replaces the ‘Events tab and offers sound engineers a complete suite of realtime system diagnostic controls.
