Niscon Inc.'s president, Joseph Jeremy says, "This hoist is simply the best I have seen on the market. In comparison to other chain products, the Stagemaker body was the only choice that could deliver the performance we were looking for along with consistency and accuracy throughout the manufacturing process.
"Our goal was to develop a variable speed chain hoist that was safe, practical and would complement the Raynok line of motion control solutions. In order to achieve this we added additional features to enhance safety and performance of the overall pr
Says i-Pix founder Chris Ewington, "We're following on from the massive success we had with launch of these at PLASA. Our R'n'D team has focussed the last 12 months on developing these dynamic new energy-saving fixtures, and we're confident that now is the right time to bring them to the market, with increasing awareness of 'green' issues and pending related legislation".
Ewington adds that all industry sectors are now looking at the long term cost saving benefits that LED lighting can bring.

BlackTrax -- First Phase is a realtime tracking system for monitoring people and objects. BlackTrax precisely monitors dynamic and spatial positioning using a proprietary sensor device placed on the moving object / person and tracked by a camera for one or many people/objects, each moving object or person is an individual measurable set of data. First Phase is tracked in 3 Degrees of Freedom - X, Y, and Z coordinates (adding six -- roll, pitch, and yaw angles in the future).
BlackTrax combines multiple existing technologies into one intelligent active tracking beacon. In other words, BlackTrax delivers at super-fast speed and with pinpoint accuracy realtime, live with 6 Degrees of Freedom information using one LED source vs. what motion capture,
Niscon's Raynok MK2 Motion Control System can be configured to control a virtually unlimited number of axes from a variety of manufacturers' equipment, including J. R. The Ether2DMX8 uses the Artnet protocol and can therefore be used to interface with any third party product that can interface with Artnet. It can also be used to merge incoming DMX lines with other DMX outputs.
It can store up to 99 cues that can be linked together for playback with fade time and hold time. Cues can be triggered remotely and a cue can be assigned as a fail-safe mode (if the incoming Artnet signal was to be lost, the device would automatically enable the cue). Another helpful use of the cue is to link it to a building's alarm system.

An engineer's monitor function has been added to the M-48 Manager software on the M-300, M-380 and M-400 digital consoles, enabling him or her to designate an M-48 unit from which the engineer can monitor and control the balance of each musician's M-48 monitor mix. The musician's group mix can also be controlled from the engineer's own M-48. A MIX Option has been added, ensuring that only sources assigned to a group will b
With three different fan speeds, the AF-5 gives designers tight control over the level of wind they introduce to a stage, dance floor or any other setting, says the company. Aside from creating the effect of the wind itself, the AF-5 can be used to make fog, haze, snow and bubbles travel farther and higher. Flexible enough to excel in a variety of applications, the AF-5 has an adjustable 45 degree wind angle.
"The AF-5 really takes fogger effects to the next level," says Eric Loader, director of sales for Elation Professional, the exclusive North American distributor of Antari products. "It makes foggers, hazers and other effect
