His 2009 summer tour included a show beside Idroscalo lake in Milan on 27 June. Thousands of fans flocked to see Caparezza perform a selection of his more popular numbers.
The team from GM Music, the rental company from Salice Salentino, again chose Proel's Axiom and Edge professional systems. The configuration comprised 24 Axiom AX3210P modules and 20 21" EDGE121SP subs, positioned in the sound wings, and eight Edge compact C12P96 as front-fill.
The system is driven by six K10 and two K20 Powersoft amplifiers, one DSO26 digital processor and two Lake Contours. Audio and power distribution cabling is also Proel.
The sound reinforcement for the concert at the Idroscalo is provided by a large Axiom system composed of an impressive total of 32 AX3210P modules. The scenery on stage is dominated by a large clock in the centre - made out of Proel full colour RGB LED strips. New Proel Lighting products have been chosen for the rest of the tour.
The team led by FoH engineer Antonio Porcelli and monitor engineer Fabio Favia that has worked with Caparezza so far, will continue to accompany him on this tour. They are joined by system engineer Danilo Stramaglia.
"We have chosen to continue working with the same sound system and the set-up as last year's tour," says Gianpaolo Tarantini from GM Music. "No two shows or venues are the same, so flexibility and ease of use are fundamental features for us. The Proel system has proven itself time and time again to be a high performance, highly adaptable solution. On a large tour like this, it is also essential to know that you have a solid, well designed and reliable system to work with and the AX3210 in particular has proven itself in every situation. We are also very satisfied with the new Proel Lighting solutions recently introduced for the summer tour dates."
