Fowler has been in the professional lighting industry for 12 years. His career started at Theatre Projects in Greenford, from which he moved on to Vari*Lite's technical support department. He also worked at the Millennium Dome as a programmer/operator for the Wholehog II consoles running the Central Show, plus multi-tasking in other areas of the attraction. In 2001 he joined Flying Pig Systems' technical support department, and has now moved to P.I.D.
In addition to his wealth of experience in technical support, Fowler has also worked on a variety of live events and large tours. He has hands-on knowledge of the technology, and is highly conscious of the pace at which 'show-time' response and solutions are needed. He's also made many contacts throughout the years in both creative and technical areas, and is looking forward to maintaining these in his work at Projected Image.
Fowler has worked with both Projected Image Digital's David March and Projected Image's founder Jim Douglas in the past. March comments: "Rob brings a formidable combination of technical skills and live experience to the equation, plus first-hand knowledge of digital media equipment and content. He will play a crucial role in our planned roll-out of digital media solution services."
