Kirby has been with Renkus-Heinz for five years, most recently as vice president of operations, and previously as national sales manager. A pro audio veteran, his resume includes stints at Turbosound and BSS Audio and before that several years as a live sound engineer. In his new position, he will be responsible for the direction and coordination of all sales and marketing activities, as well as overseeing product management, and supporting the company's growing application engineering department.

* Renkus-Heinz will host two seminars at PLASA 2010 on the topic of digitally steerable loudspeaker technology and its successful implementation in Renkus-Heinz's Iconyx and IC Live Digitally Steerable Column Arrays.
Rik Kirby, Renkus-Heinz VP sales & marketing, will present the sessions in the Whitehall Room in Earls Court 2, on Tuesday 14 September from 5:00pm - 6:00pm and on Wednesday 15 September from 1:00pm - 2:00pm.
The one-hour in-depth overview of the technology and its real-world benefits compared to traditional solutions, part of the PLASA 2010 Education & Learning Programme, is designed for sound designers and installers, technicians, system consultants, integrated solution providers, acoustic consultants and architects.
