Europe - Shure has announced its new IntelliMix Room Kits. These complete Microsoft Teams Room systems, on Windows, are designed for effortless deployment in small to large meeting rooms, up to 33 x 18ft (10 x 5.5m).
Clear audio quality is crucial for meeting participants and the accuracy of AI-driven tools. In the workplace, AI tools like Microsoft 365 Copilot rely on the intelligibility of the audio input to generate accurate transcriptions and summaries, to ensure key points and action items are understood, and to identify and attribute talkers in the room. Shure's IntelliMix Room Kits deliver superior audio performance, ensuring every word is heard – and transcribed – clearly. With Shure’s century-long expertise in audio engineering, customers can trust they’re getting the best sound quality for Teams Rooms.
“Capturing clear and precise voices is essential during AI-powered meetings,” said Sam Sabet, chief technology officer at Shure. “High-quality audio helps convey the nuances of vocal expressions, emotions, and tone, which will aid advanced AI tools in understanding intent and enhancing communication and collaboration among team members, especially for remote participants. Shure’s new IntelliMix Room Kits are designed to provide reliable, premium audio, bridging the gap between remote teams and fostering a more inclusive and efficient collaboration environment.”
“We’re pleased to welcome Shure to the Microsoft Teams Rooms ecosystem with the introduction of their IntelliMix Room Kits,” said Albert Kooiman, senior director partner engineering and customer experiences, Microsoft. “Expanding Shure’s expertise in audio innovation to full room system kits, not only enhances day-to-day meeting experiences, but also helps Microsoft 365 Copilot bring the meeting experience to the next level."
Setting up the IntelliMix Room Kits is simple and straightforward. With Zero Touch Provisioning, the audio, video, touch panel, and Windows-based compute device auto-configure out of the box. Just physically connect the components, power on and log in with a Teams Room account or use Windows Autopilot with Autologin for Teams Rooms.
“IT departments require solutions that simplify their lives and workflows – from selection and purchase to installation and management,” said Sam Sabet, chief technology officer at Shure. “Shure is more than a solution provider; we’re a true collaboration partner. By working side by side with Microsoft, we’re offering a complete, one-stop-shop for every room’s needs.”
Each IntelliMix Room Kit is a Windows-based modular Teams Room solution, making it simple for end users to select, implement, and manage the system. Every component of the kit comes together to create a comprehensive set of solutions for IT managers and AV integrators.
Shure offers four curated, complete room kits, allowing customers to easily select their preferred system based on room size.
