Germany - Carlsbro is launching its new NlightN, NXT driven, flat panel sound reinforcement speakers at this year's Musikmesse. The result of a two year development project, which sees the new professional reinforcement panel speakers assembled at the company's Ningbo factory near Shanghai, the NlightN flat panel speakers offer " significant performance advantages in portable PA, AV installation, commercial audio and architectural applications".

NlightN flat panel speakers use six small, mathematically positioned exciters to generate bending waves across the entire surface of a stiff panel membrane. The exciters used in the NlightN speakers are based on conventional moving voice coils. The movement of the panel creates a diffuse soundfield that provides an unparalleled, immersive audio experience: the dispersion from an NlightN speaker is almost omnidirectional across
