Festival director Gareth Williams, himself for many years the monitor engineer for Fairport Convention, and his PA supplier Pete Russell of SSE Audio Group chose the new Nexo 45°N-12 stage monitors for the Cropredy stage, deploying 10 units for up to eight mixes, all powered by NXAMP 4x4s.

This year's line-up, headlined by Fairport Convention, also included Horslips, Badly Drawn Boy, Seasick Steve, The Coral and UB40. The busiest man on site was Jasen Hattams of SSE, who mixed monitors for every band except Fairport itself. He had a few things to say about

Forde will be working for Sennheiser UK's general manager Phil Massey, taking on a strategic role within the UK, analysing and developing business in line with the Sennheiser Group's five-year plan to consolidate its premium brand position in the market, says the company.

In 1975 Terry Clarke founded Klark-Teknik with his brother Phil. During his time at KT, Terry designed several products that became industry standards in the touring and installation sectors - including the DN70 delay line, the DN27 and the DN360 Graphic EQs, and the DN780 digital reverb - many of which are still in use worldwide.

During the show's opening two days, 48 products were judged 'live' in front of a crowd of show visitors and camera crew by an independent panel of expert judges who toured the show floor to view each product presentation. The show has used the same RF format for over a decade, with some 12 radio-comms channels, as well as numerous radio mic frequencies, but the reducing RF spectrum available across Europe - due to the growth of digital TV - meant that there was simply insufficient clear radio space available in Antwerp.
