The Twin series from Wharfedale Pro.
Wharfedale Pro has introduced new additions to its Twin series, which was was launched earlier in the year with the Twin 12 and 15. The new additions are the Twin 8 (8"), Twin 10 (10") and Twin 15SB (15") and Twin 18SB (18") subs. These will shortly be available in a white finish, making them ideal for places of worship.

The Twin series is a compact, high-efficiency point source system designed to meet demanding professional applications requiring both sonic quality and integrity. It is especially suited to high quality sound reinforcement applications where the power response and overall performance give exceptional results, even in challenging acoustic spaces. All products house proprietary-designed, coaxial two-way full range drive units, with sophisticated crossover design. In the case of the Twin 12 this is a 1 x 12" driver, and with the Twin 15, a 1 x 15" driver. Other features include Neutrik Speakon connection, integral HF driver overload protection (via Pro-Tech), built-in rigging points, and are flexibly designed for use as low-profile ceiling speakers, low-profile stage monitors or for pole-mounting in a portable situation.

In addition, all Twin cabinets are constructed from 18mm birch plywood and finished in Ameraguard, which provides the toughest finish a user is likely to experience on a loudspeaker. Used on truck beds, this abrasion-resistant coating is sprayed on at extremely high pressure levels, giving the cabinet a protective skin. The new updated range will be showcased on the IAG Professional booth (#212A) at January’s NAMM Show in Anaheim, California.
