UK - Leading pro-audio provider The Warehouse Sound Services has reported a boost in sales following this year's inaugural PLASA Focus in at the SECC. The company showcased a range of products from d&b audiotechnik, Shure, Yamaha and EM Acoustics. The event provided the Scotland headquartered organisation an opportunity to exhibit on home turf with the experience surpassing all the company's expectations.

PLASA Focus Glasgow delivered two days of constant activity, high quality visitors and high interest in The Warehouse's new products.

Janet Murray, sales manager of The Warehouse commented, "Exhibiting at PLASA Focus has been productive for The Warehouse. This has been a great event for the company based on the responses to product presentations and the volume of new and existing customers who came specifically to see our product range. Importantly we were able to greet customers in our home town which had a significant impact on sales and direct enquires."

At the event, The Warehouse showcased a range of quality audio products including the d&b audiotechnik Y-Series range on show for the first time at a trade event in the UK. The Warehouse is Scotland's only d&b audiotechnik sales partner, so PLASA Scotland provided a unique opportunity to showcase the d&b's new line of Y-Series loudspeaker cabinets their customers.

The company also showcased the groundbreaking Halo-C compact line array enclosures from UK manufacturer, EM Acoustics. The Halo-C enclosures have been met with UK acclaim and created a massive buzz at the event.

The Warehouse Sound Services specialises in RF and wireless technology and the Glasgow event provided an ideal opportunity to showcase Shure's range of radio mic systems. The Warehouse showcased Shure's flagship product Axient. With the Axient wireless microphone system, Shure has introduced a dramatic new threshold of control and confidence in RF applications with zero tolerance for failure. Also on display was Shure's BLX entry-level wireless microphone system.

As one of leading companies in sales and hire of digital consoles, The Warehouse also chose to exhibit Yamaha QL5 desk. Launched this year, the compact QL series consoles offer all-in-one mixing, processing, and routing capability for small to medium scale live sound. During the event there was also great interest in the forthcoming launch Yamaha Rivage PM10 which promises to be a true industry milestone when released this year.

The Warehouse team included sales director Derek Blair, sales manager Janet Murray and Andrew McGill from technical sales. The team were joined on the stand by a strong team of technical personnel including Oran Burns from d&b audiotechnik, Dave Kelland from EM Acoustics and Dave Philips from Shure who offered one on one product demos.

Derek Blair, sales director, commented, "PLASA Glasgow really delivered for us, we've had numerous clients at our stand and really positive feedback. The response was fantastic and has provided us with a clear strategy for 2015."
