UK - Bristol and West Midlands based video and AV specialist Central Presentations Ltd (CPL), provided a multi-screen projection design and equipment including media server control for Regeneration, a seasonal party event created by a leading technology company for over 1000 guests.

CPL's Nick Diacre was asked to design and specify a high impact projection system by Bristol based production company Bright, The initial sense of anticipation started as guests trekked through the bleak and uninviting landscape of the disused airfield to reach this exceptionally discreet location.

USA - UK-based digital console manufacturer, DiGiCo, was the live music console of choice at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles, as specified by longtime show production partner ATK AudioTek. The music celebration and ceremony garnered the second highest ratings of any Grammy airing with approximately 41m viewers.

A combination of five of DiGiCo's newer SD10 consoles along with one of its larger format SD7s handled FOH and monitor duties - for a total of 400+ I/O's and 256 mic preamps distributed between six SD Racks - among four engineers in three locations within the Staples Center arena.

The entire PA system was powered by a versatile Opticore fibre optic network, which made it possible for the consoles to tie together seamlessly and also allowing the signal path to stay 100% digital from mic preamps to amplifiers. Additionally, the Opticore network cut t

Website graphic designer Mark Harrison took inspiration from the venue's beer legacy as the theme for show's iconic website and advertising design. As he explained, "When I visited the venue, its proximity

The Netherlands - Royal Nedalco, a leading producer of ethyl alcohol, is a member company of the Dutch agro-industrial group Royal Cosun.

All that remains of the old factory that the company (at that time called Zuid-Nederlandse Spiritus Fabriek) built in Bergen op Zoom, in southern Holland, is the 75m tall chimney, erected in 1938.

The restoration project is the result of the cooperation of two organizations, BOEI and Monumentenfonds Brabant, both committed to conserving monuments of the industrial age for the future, and safeguarding the town's rich historical heritage.

The construction recently underwent preservation and restoration work, during which structural weakening was found at the summit.

The 15m top section was therefore dismantled and replaced with a metal structure with the same dimensions, which restored the chimney to its original height of 75m, making it o

Denmark - With his first major label release Behold, Danish singer-songwriter Mads Langer is now breaking through as an international artist. "We wanted to use Neumann digital microphones and DiGiCo is one of only two manufacturers who currently offer the right interface, allowing us to have digital audio all the way from the microphone capsules to the loudspeakers," says Front of House engineer Jacob Navne.

USA - For nearly two decades, the organisers of the Sierra Nevada World Music Festival have been attracting world music fans to Boonville, California for an event that emphasises community, social and environmental responsibility and the unifying power of music. Although Sacramento Production Services has been providing audio for the three-day festival for 16 years, 2011's SNWMF was the first time they've used Lab.gruppen amplifiers. "It's our first year using the Labs and the first time we used Lake Processing on this PA. Simon Nathan, owner of Audio Production Services of Amawalk, NY, worked closely with Dan Dryden, FOH engineer for the Philip Glass Ensemble, to design the sound system for the event.

Gottlieb's involvement with Master Class dates back to the very first production in 1995, which clocked up nearly 600 performances in total. An ardent fan of Meyer Sound loudspeaker systems, Gottlieb was initially concerned about how to replicate his Broadway design in the West End environment in the minimal time available, as he explains:

"This was a challenging transfer, and it all happened very fast. We knew that we had to hit the ground running from the moment
