USA - D-Tools Inc. president and CEO Adam Stone, announced that Steve Collard, current chief financial officer of the fast-growing software manufacturing company, will expand his management duties to assume the role of chief operating officer, effective immediately.

"The depth of experience, financial leadership and vision Steve brings to our management team at this important juncture of our growth plan makes this a logical next step for the company," said Stone.

D-Tools is the industry's leading provider of software solutions for audio/video and control system design, installation, job costing, project management and billing for designers and system integrators for both residential and commercial applications.

"The company has been positioning itself for enormous growth, especially in the commercial application sector, with the planned introduction of several new products during the coming year," said Collard. "We anticipate that the increases we have been experiencing in both sales revenue and software use during the past several quarters will continue to accelerate - especially in light of the release of System Integrator 4 (SI 4) at the upcoming CEDIA Show next week."

Steve Collard brings to D-Tools over 20 years of experience as CFO/Controller for companies such as AdventNet, a Pleasanton, CA-based high-tech company that provides software tools for the management and provisioning of complex networks, systems and IT applications. Prior to joining AdventNet in 2000, his financial background included experience in the professional services, technology, construction, distribution and the food storage/logistic industries. Collard obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley.
