Hungary - The newly opened Vibe Budapest, the latest project of the Costes Group, has chosen Prolights solutions to create spectacular lighting effects and an engaging atmosphere. The lighting system design and installation were managed by LISYS-Project, which integrated Prolights Jet Hybrid200 moving heads to illuminate the stage and enhance the venue's scenic design.

These compact and versatile fixtures, delivering high quality and intense brightness, not only enhance the stage but also illuminate dancers, acrobats, and performers moving between the tables, creating an immersive and dynamic atmosphere. Their fast zoom ensures maximum scenic flexibility, while the combination of colour wheel, dual gobo wheels, prism effect, and frost function offers endless creative possibilities, further amplifying the visual impact.

UK - Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP) hosts a broad spectrum of performances including touring musicals, dance productions, comedy and drama. The Lyric Theatre is a versatile space with a seating capacity of 1,300, which can be reduced to 800 through the adjustment of the theatre’s unique moving roof. This adaptability allows the theatre to accommodate both large touring productions and more intimate performances.

Opened in 1982, the venue is known for its distinctive architecture, which, although renowned, presents challenges for sound installation. When TRP required an upgrade to its ageing sound system, EM Acoustics was chosen.

"I’ve been using EM products for years across all the venues in the theatre," says Dan Mitcham, head of sound at Theatre Royal Plymouth. "We’ve always had a great relationship with them, and the upgrade to EM for the

Switzerland - Pavilion Naftule, a new 1,200sq.m pop-up performance space specialising in comedy, has completed its debut season at Lausanne's Place Bellerive using a comprehensive L-Acoustics hyperreal immersive audio solution.

Named after the late Pierre Naftule, a respected regional comedy producer, the dismantlable venue attracted nearly 30,000 spectators across 100 performances featuring a diverse programme of comedy and musical productions. The semi-permanent nature of Pavilion Naftule presented specific technical obstacles that required innovative solutions. The theatre's dismantlable

Finland - In the vibrant Konepaja neighbourhood of Helsinki, an audio-visual hub known as Kino Konepaja has emerged. More than just a cinema, the space is an intersection of film, production, and sound design coupled with a New York soul that’s led by Jussi Myllyniemi of Whitepoint, a Finnish post-production company. It’s here that Genelec’s loudspeaker technology plays a key role, transforming a once-traditional space into a venue that ‘blends exceptional sound with the latest on-screen hits’.

The intimate, 55-seat venue was conceived as a production space that could also serve as a cinema, driven by Myllyniemi’s background in post-production and commercial movie events. “Initially, we considered collaborating with existing cinemas, but when that didn’t work out, we decided to create our own,” he explains. “We’d had this facility in

Uganda - Situated in the bustling heart of Uganda’s capital, Kampala, Noni Vie Lounge & Restaurant has raised the bar as a premier destination venue – in terms of both its cuisine and its music.

The latter was something that the proprietors definitely weren’t going to skimp on. It was while on a visit to London that they visited the Tiger Tiger nightclub and marvelled at the quality of the sound. Investigating further they realised it was a Martin Audio rig, and after contacting the manufacturer, they were directed to Tech Ease Systems, who distribute the brand throughout Central and East African countries.

The systems consultant, Vincent Kasule recalls the original website inquiry. “When I met the proprietors, I could see they were trying to create a modern club and restaurant that would be unique in Kampala, with an excellent audio expe

Switzerland - For 22 years from 1994 to 2016 the Kuppel (Dome) in Basel was a legendary concert venue and club which successfully hosted national and international acts. It was a wooden structure that had originally been built for a gardening show and was temporarily relocated onto public land in the city. Never intended as a permanent fixture, the city’s government eventually had the Kuppel demolished, but so popular was the venue that a trust committee had been established, and eight years after its removal, the new Kuppel was inaugurated.

Architects Vécsey*Schmidt designed the new venue and worked closely with the Basel office of global AV consultant, Walters-Storyk Design Group (WSDG), who was appointed as the project’s acoustic engineering specialist. A high priority was placed on the total acoustic insulation of the venue owing to its location in
