Highly visible and iconic, the 'LightVeils' display is unique to Weymouth. It is also one of the final parts in an ambitious £2.5m seafront regeneration programme undertaken by the Borough Council and other partners. The Parasol KLR system allows moving lights to move along a circular truss in any configuration at up to 60 inches per second. Under contract from the city administration they have created a dramatic and haunting lightscape, using PR Lighting LED fixtures, for the restored Victims of Fascism monument, located in the park at the Centre for Slavic Culture. This monument is one of the most important places to pay homage to the horrors of the Second World War in the region.
