Europe - The Laserworld Group has released the tarm 2.5 laser light systems, a new generation of Art-Net/DMX-controllable lasers that can create and store artwork straight onto the device.
The laser module in the tarm 2.5 has been improved by combining all laser sources in one white light module, which has professional mirror mounts allowing for precise module alignment with hex keys. Different laser software can be used to directly access the built-in DAC (digital-analogue-converter) via LAN for professional show control.
Meanwhile, mobile DJs or entertainers who cannot actively control the laser during performance can make use of the sound-to-light or the standalone operation mode, which - combined with the option to load custom graphics to the mainboard - makes the tarm 2.5 suitable for advertisement projections or use in architecture illumination.

Australia - LSC Lighting Systems continues to develop its range of LED control technologies with the release of the new LED-CV4 DINrail mount driver.
The LED-CV4 is a 4-channel LED driver with a 5A per channel output and a 100% duty cycle, significant when compared to the competition. It also has built-in, short-circuit protection per channel with auto-reset, thereby eliminating the need to change fuses if the LED tape or cabling gets damaged.
Controlled via DMX and configured by RDM, the LED-CV4 has true 16-bit dimming for seamless professional dimming. If used in 8-bit mode, there is a smoothing algorithm that allows for stepless dimming across the 0-255 DMX input range.
Current monitoring per channel and variable frequency output come as standard and can be monitored and configured by LSC’s new Houston-X software tool. Power input can be either a 12V or 24V

USA - ADJ has introduced three single LED wash fixtures to its Encore Burst series.
All new models feature IP-rated casing and flexible multi-purpose bracket, but come with LED engines of different intensities.

The ABTT Awards’ panel of judges praised the AED-SL18 as “a piece of engineering equipment with the lighting designer in mind. With a small lifting platform that can take the weight of a moving light and controlled from the same DMX system as the moving light, the Showlift allows all the programming to sit in one place.”
David Baker, commercial manager at AED UK, comments: “We’re thrilled that th

Europe - Milos has reently introduced redesigned short truss segments in its M290 range, which incorporate thicker bracing tubes.
The redesign of the tubes increases the shear load capacity of the short truss sections, resulting in strength equal to that of Milos regular truss sections.
With the introduction of this new design, short truss sections can now be placed anywhere within a truss structure without having any adverse impact on the structure’s loading capacity. The planning process is therefore simplified and the risk of errors during structure assembly is eliminated, says the company.
