USA - Claypaky and Osram have presented the CloudIO, an IoT device which provides technicians with complete diagnostics for Claypaky fixtures.
When the lights run checks after use, the unit collects data on hours of lamp life of each fixture, the conditions of various components in the units and update firmware, simply by connecting to the cloud.
The CloudIO is a compact device (240 x 230 x 93mm / 9.45 x 9.06 x 3.66 inches), equipped with a 7” capacitive touchscreen. It has two in/ out pass-through DMX connections, so it is possible to interface and communicate directly with up to 31 lights in series. This is particularly useful for rental companies, who can connect their lights to the CloudIO when they return from a tour.

USA - ADJ’s new Hydro Wash X7 IP-rated moving head wash luminaire has been released to the market, the manufacturer reports.
This versatile 280W LED fixture packs a host of features into a compact housing, making the luminaire suitable for one-off events and concert touring as well as permanent installation in large nightclubs and other entertainment venues.
The latest addition to ADJ’s Hydro Series of IP65-rated professional moving head fixtures, the Hydro Wash X7, harnesses the power of seven 40W Osram 4-in-1 (RGBW) LEDs. USA - At LDI 2019, Chauvet Professional (stands 945/937) will show its most powerful Maverick moving head yet, along with the COLORado Solo Batten 4, a new generation of Rogue fixtures, and a high-resolution video panel from the F2 series.

USA - Doughty Engineering’s latest pieces of kit - the Scaff Boom Arm and Fifty Clamp - are set to take centre stage on the company’s stand 2424 at this year’s LDI Show. This is the first time the Scaff Boom Arm will be seen in the US and, along with the Fifty Clamp which debuted at LDI 2018, will be the company’s star attractions.

The company’s Delta Dual 8" passive line array (BLA208) comprises four Dual 8" boxes and comes complete in a purpose-built plywood made to measure flight case.
Each of the four boxes contains two 8" BishopSound Neo Drivers with 2.5" voice coils and two 1.34 HF units with titanium diaphragms; Kevlar speaker cones are used throughout. Each box delivers 600W RMS and operates at 65~20kHZ.

The Maverick Storm 1 Spot delivers a flat even field of light with variable CMY + CTO colour mixing to create a wide palette of colours.
