USA/Europe - Elation Professional has announced a new warranty policy that extends its standard limited product warranty to five years on LED light engine sources for some of its latest and most popular LED luminaires. In addition, warranty coverage on fixture components has been extended to three years for products used in registered indoor fixed installation projects.
The five-year/three-year limited warranty applies to Elation’s Artiste, Fuze, KL Fresnel, Seven and Profile LED product series for indoor installation projects installed and maintained by an authorized reseller. Products used on temporary indoor rental projects also benefit from the extended five-year warranty on LED engine sources with warranty coverage on fixture components remaining at two years. All exterior-rated lighting products continue to be covered by Elation’s standard two-year limited product

Germany - Robe celebrated 25 years with style and flair at Prolight+Sound Frankfurt 2019 with its largest and most dynamic booth to date – also one of the biggest in the exhibition – which provided a dramatic backdrop for the show-stopping finale of the Lost Worlds trilogy of live shows, complete with seven dancers, a specially compiled soundtrack and over 300 of the latest Robe moving light fixtures.
On the Wednesday night, a special Robe silver jubilee party rocked the booth and over 1000 guests joined the Robe Family to be entertained by Czech ‘glamtronic’ electro swing band Mydy Rabycad, who interrupted their European tour for the occasion.

Flavio Naggi, sales and marketing manager of FaitalPRO, explains: "The new HF1440 is a completely new compression driver, very powerful and outstanding, which joins a series of really compact high frequency drivers.
“Mounting a 3.4" voice coil, we are now facing a market area that has been completely unexplored so far for FaitalPRO. It is the model with the largest voice coil in our catalogue.
“Furthermore, it covers a fairly wide frequency range from 0.7 to 20 kHz allowing it to be used as a high-power driver in any traditional application, including two-way acoustic systems. Germany - Responding to the recent pro sound philosophy that requires lightweight products, with a light moving mass, Italian manufacturer FaitalPRO has launched three cone speakers 12, 15 and 18 inches in diameter. The units are dedicated to the reproduction of the lower frequencies. With 700 W of continuous AES power and 1400 maximum, the new woofer family called FX600- comprises three new models, 12FX600, 15FX600, 18FX600.
Flavio Naggi, sales and marketing manager of FaitalPRO, explains: "In the audio-video world ‘FX’ refers to ‘special effects’ and that's why we chose this name for these series of speakers. They offer high level performance for top of the range applications. Germany - Loudspeaker manufacturer Funktion-One has unveiled its latest technological development with the launch of Vero VX at Prolight + Sound 2019 in Frankfurt. Vero VX, which has been in development for the last three years, promises Vero sound for a wider range of venues and environments thanks to its more compact footprint.
Funktion-One founder Tony Andrews says: “We’re delighted to introduce Vero VX to the world. Since Vero’s launch in 2016 we’ve had a lot of interest in a smaller system that offers the same performance characteristics and ease of deployment. Through significant engineering innovation, we’ve managed to achieve that objective.”
The Vero VX system comprises VX90 full-range vertical array elements, V124 or V221 bass enclosures, amp racks, fly bars, transport dollies, ground stack hardware, cabling and Projection predictive software.

Exhibiting alongside Nexo, Yamaha is showing the new TF Series V4.0 firmware. Soundvision 3.1.0 and LA Network Manager 2.7.0 feature advanced autosolver tools to simplify, accelerate, and improve system optimization from system design to operation.

Germany - WORK PRO has announced a significant software upgrade for its LightShark DMX-based hardware lighting console, resulting in major improvements to its features and functionality. The company has also revealed that from April 2019, LightShark users can purchase a new bundle incorporating a Capture Visualizer licence from Capture Sweden.
