USA - AV Stumpfl will present its new AT64-SHIFT system for large mobile projection screens and the new PIXERA mini media server at this year's InfoComm in Orlando.
With the AT64-SHIFT, it's possible to assemble a large mobile projection screen and to adjust its height in a matter of minutes, says the company. No extra measuring is needed to ensure that the frame is level, due to a clearly marked height scale.
Based on the same principles as the T32-SHIFT, the AT64-SHIFT projection screen legs can be used for much larger mobile projection screens and are compatible with all mobile AV Stumpfl screen systems.
Another highlight of AV Stumpfl's InfoComm booth will be the new PIXERA mini hardware. PIXERA mini is an ultra-compact media server, perfect for digital signage and multi-display applications.
The PIXERA mini is a 1U and ½ 19“ product. Two PIXERA min

UK - Allen & Heath has released V1.4 firmware for its SQ series, delivering a raft of features and new processing options ported from the company’s flagship dLive digital mixing system.
V1.4 unveils a dynamic trio of powerful audio tools, comprising Multiband Compressors, Dynamic EQ and De-Esser, all straight from the FX Rack of dLive. These optional add-ons allow SQ users to have up to eight instances that can be inserted on any input channel, group or mix.
Giving engineers more preparation time away from the console, V1.4 also introduces the eagerly awaited offline mode for SQ’s MixPad App, which is now also being released for PC and Mac (previously iOS and Android only). Offline mode enables engineers to create entire show files without the need for an SQ, manage shows and scenes offline, and send and receive entire shows over a wired or wireless network.

UK - At ABTT 2019, Point Source Audio (PSA) will unveil the GO-8 Series of microphones featuring the GO-8WD, a moldable microphone that shapes into a variety of mic styles.
The company says GO-8 allows the sound team to create a custom actor microphone style as they need it.
Designed for theatre, the moldable GO-8WD-SK starts out flat but can be shaped by an A2 or mic expert into a collar mic, halo mic, or a headset mic for the left or right side. The company reports that while these are the most common styles in theatre, the GO-8WD’s moldable format can be an instant problem solver in a multitude of mic’ing situations that are either unexpected or challenging.
“For me, the GO-8WD is a great solution for precisely fitting a headset-style mic on an actor; every aspect from the ear hook to the boom length can be formed exactly as needed to get the best soun

Europe - Portugese acoustic treatment specialist Artnovion has announced the launch of its Aries series of diffuser products created specifically for professional audio applications.
The Aries Diffuser was designed using a variety of diffusion techniques and offers a clear advance in performance over traditional QRD design. Inspired by traditional numeric sequence diffusers, it’s composed of asymmetrical multi-depth wells, in which specific wells use a folded-depth technique to boost the mid-low diffusion range of the panel.
While the panel itself is only 60mm thick, the extended wells on the diffuser are designed to be effective at 160Hz and 400Hz, with a linear diffusion pattern from 700Hz upwards, delivering previously unheard-of diffusion capacity for its size.
The asymmetric wells are also arranged in an optimised sequence to prevent lobbing when used in

UK - With support for DALI DT8 (colour), DMXtoDALI quad is specified for the new generation of DALI products coming to market.
Artistic Licence has extensive experience in DMX512 and DALI interconversion. Its popular DIN rail solution, Rail-DMX-DALI, was launched several years ago to serve customers needing to add DALI fixtures to DMX based lighting control systems.
With the continued growth of the crossover market, Rail-DMX-DALI is still very much in demand. However, the recent introduction of DALI DT8 (colour control) means that this product is not compatible with the very latest DALI technology.
Artistic Licence therefore took the opportunity to redesign Rail-DMX-DALI to incorporate the new standard, and to implement major product upgrades that greatly improve the performance and user experience. The result is DMXtoDALI quad.
DMXtoDALI quad retains the

Mark Chorley, design engineer at Doughty, says: "Both our Scaff Boom Arm and Heavy Duty Boom arm have got people talking since we launched them this spring. The Scaff Boom Arm has been designed in response to customer demand - we see it as a 'get out of jail item' which will allow a rigger to fashion their own boom arm out of materials they have to hand and simply cut it down to size. It will take 48mm aluminium barrel or scaff tube and from feedback we've received so far, we're told it's a perfect addition to any tool kit."
While Doughty is unable to quote a safe working load for the product, each piece of kit comes with a loading chart which is also ava

China - PR Lighting took a fresh approach to their 558 sq.m. booth design at this year’s four-day GET Show at the Poly World Trade Centre in Guangzhou.
The company’s CEO Dave Liang reverted to an idea originally floated at the 2017 edition where they presented a united booth with other suppliers, in order to show customers a completely integrated, ‘finished’ solution. This year they collaborated with experienced Chinese LED display company, DGX, as well as laser company, Magical Laser and acoustics specialists, Lianhui Acoustooptical.
“These are all necessary facilities in most projects, particularly events, tours, club installs, and customers like to be able to see how a full project solution will look,” says international director of sales Ernie Armas.
On the other side of the booth, in anticipation of a strong international presence, there were th

Europe - eLumen8 has continued to expand its range of professional moving heads with the introduction of the 9RE Beam. This moving beam is powered by a MSD 260R9 (8000K) discharge lamp, allowing users to create sharp 2.5° beams and gobos.
Showcased at the recent PLASA Focus Leeds tradeshow, this latest addition by eLumen8 has been designed with the lighting designer in mind as it not only has top quality optics and motorised focus, it also features two prisms that can be used simultaneously, giving the user a host of options to create stunning light shows.
Andrew Jeffrey, Prolight Concepts Group managing director, comments: “This is the first of several new movers aimed at the rental and installation markets to be released in the coming months. The 9RE has been over 12 months in development but well worth the wait.”

UK - GoboPlus.com, the one-stop, online shop for gobos and projection products, exhibited at PLASA Focus Leeds 2019 where the team showed off its new, high resolution glass gobos.
“The new glass gobos render images in much finer detail than has been previously possible,” explains CEO Paul de Ville. “The exquisitely fine resolution allows much greater detail to be produced on smaller gobos, and has been created in response to the huge improvements in optical quality of most modern lanterns. The resultant HR gobos give the lighting designer more scope, not only allowing for more detailed images, but also enabling more accurate adaptation of standard gobo designs to fit on the new generation of smaller gobos used by many moving light fixtures.”
In a further development for the company, GoboPlus.com chose PLASA Focus Leeds to introduce an additional brand into the
