UK - Peavey Commercial Audio has partnered with Neets to announce the availability of a TanGo driver for PCA’s Digitool family of digital audio processing units for loudspeaker management, matrix mixing, room combining and more. The driver is currently available for the Digitool MX16 and Digitool Live devices, both of which are 8x8-channel units.
The Neets TanGo is a powerful control system enabling intuitive touch control of third-party devices - such as Digitool - either through the array of Neets touch panel devices, Android/iOS touch panels, or standard browsers allowing for custom built GUIs. The Netherlands - AV equipment manufacturer Work Pro Audio is expanding the SoundNut range of pendant speakers for installed sound applications.
The SoundNut originally debuted at ISE 2018 as a prototype design for a new kind of pendant speaker with a variety of housings in different textures and colours, the principle being to make installed sound speakers as visually discreet as a light fitting. Following a positive response, the first in the SoundNut range made its first official appearance at InfoComm 2018: the 400W SN-8, featuring an eight-inch coaxial driver.
Four more SoundNut models are being launched in Amsterdam to complete the range: the SN-3, SN-6, SN-10, which feature three-, six- and 10-inch drivers respectively, and the SN-8SUB, an eight-inch subwoofer for low-frequency enhancement. All use the same basic design concept as the original SN-8.

USA - The new COLORado Solo Batten from Chauvet Professional made its world premiere on the Times Square Midnight Countdown Stage of the ABC Network’s Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve programme.
The bright, IP65-rated fixture creates a uniformly homogenised wash, giving it the appearance of being a single bar of light with no pixels or “round eyes” visible, and no dark corners. Europe - Outline has announced the immediate availability of v.93 firmware for their (patent Newton digital hub, in addition to software version 1.8.1 for their proprietary ‘Dashboard’ remote control application.
This is the latest operational upgrade following the successful launch of Newton at prolight+sound 2018 and is largely based on input from Outline’s international group of Newton users, who have thoroughly road-tested the units in a wide variety of applications.
