The Judges at the Exhibitor Show were impressed with many features of the truss, giving special mention to its pleasing good looks, versatility and branding capabilities. Many positive comments were also made about the weight of the truss (approximately 1lb per linear foot) and the reduced cost of drayage from loading dock to show floor.
In addition to the strong, lightweight and infinitely customizable carbon fiber truss, the acrylic p-wave version is now ready to ship.

A high-velocity radial blower and innovative ECO-Mass vaporizing system, combine with a VGA airflow system, allowing users to adjust the angle of the haze output to produce very small, highly refractive airborne particles - the ideal canvas of haze for today’s intelligent lighting systems. For increased flexibility, the amount of haze dispensed can be adjusted via on-board 3- and 5-pin fan speed and haze output control.
A 3-digit LED user interface and state-of-the-art digital electronics gives users easy access to DMX set-up, haze density and output control. A variab

Launching two wall-mount units and two ceiling mount speakers at the recent 2003 NSCA Expo, Tim Dorwart, vice president of the Commercial Division, said the new line represented an opportunity for affiliates to provide customers with a more comprehensive range of speaker options and added that DMX Music would continue to work with third-party loudspeaker manufacturers wherever the customer requirements dictated.
The new line includes two surface-mount loudspeakers, the SM104 and SM105, and two flush-mount speakers, the CM1525 and CM1525R. The SM104 is a wall-mountable loudspeaker featuring a 2-way design consisting of a 4-inch woof
All of the products in Stardraw applications now have at least one link, to the manufacturer's homepage, while other product ranges within Stardraw - BSS for example - already have links to dynamic pages on the manufacturer’s website that use a script to give users instant and sp

According to Enttec, the DMXStreamer is the only device in the world that offers such advanced scheduling options. Features at a glance include up to 20 hours of recording from any DMX512 source; 26 shows; scheduling options - time of day, sunrise, sunset, day of week, po
CAT5 cabling with RJ-45 connectors provides a convenient and cost effective alternative to coaxial cable: CAT5 is lighter, more flexible, and a fraction of the cost of coaxial video cable. The result is an all-in-one solution for routing and distributing professional quality video and audio that reduces installation and cable costs in less rack space, say AutoPatch.

Monochrome glass gobos allow far more complex designs to be created than with traditional metal gobos - in particular, images can be created without the ‘tagging’ required to hold metal gobos together, or the gobos can contain high-quality photographic half-tone images. DHA’s monochrome glass gobos are produced to a resolution of 3600dpi as standard on heat-resistant, aluminium coated borosilicate glass.
The new same-day service has undergone extensive testing over the last few months. "This testing has proved highly s
Each valve becomes an integral part of its corresponding channel's pre-amplifier, adding the classic valve sound and ‘warmth’ to any signals that run through it, say the company. Careful circuit design ensures that noise and headroom are not compromised and enhances the even harmonics associated with thermionic valve technology.
Installation of the board is simple - the outer casing of the Xone:V6 is removed and the valve board ‘plugged’ in without further modification. The Xone:V6 mixer has been enthusiastically received by DJs and clubs worldwide and commended for
Each channel on the satin grey front panel features 30 of ARX’s new extended resolution long-throw, centre grounding sliders, switchable to either ±15dB or ±6dB, for the ideal combination of high fader resolution and maximum cut and boost. Additionally, there is a gain level control with up to +10 dB of gain; a Clip LED to indicate circuit overload, a sweepable 20-200Hz High Pass filter, and an In/Out hardwire bypass switch with optional transformer output.
The EQ 260 boasts a signal-to-noise ratio of 95dB un-weighted, a dynamic range of 120dB and Distortion lower than .004% at 100Hz, 1kHz and 10kHz.

Under the rules of the ‘shoot out’ each company had three 12-minute segments throughout the day, with no time allowed to tweak the boxes. Fortunately, KV2’s ‘Audio Twins’ were on hand in the shape of Andy Austin Brown and Jonathan Reece-Farren.
Advances in lamp technology have been instrumental in the creation of this new product. Philips has developed the P3, or improved pinch lamp, which essentially allows the lamp to operate at higher temperatures than ever before. This offers increased brightness and extended lamp life. Software modifications and changes in the power supply also help boost the brightness. x.Spot Xtreme is available with either a 2:1 or 4:1 lens depending on customer preference. The x.Spot HO (High Output) will continue to be available.

They come in two sizes - the mini and the maxi (which can hold a load of 100kg) and are available in black and white in bags of 10s or 20s. Charles Haines, Halls’ managing director, said: "After years of making what felt like thousands of cyc stretchers and drape clamps out of 3 x 1 and sash cord in my days as a stage carpenter, I always thought there had to be a better way. There never seemed to be any left after a get-out and we had a ‘scraps box’ in the workshop - just for making replacements. Well, now we’ve got a better way - easy,
The MAC 250 Krypton features a number of significant changes including a new optical system for brighter output and improved image quality, new gobo patterns, improved movement and styling, and will be well suited to a variety of markets such as the club and installation market, retail and leisure applications, special events and more.
A new glass reflector produces even higher light output - more than competitive products using condenser-based optical systems, say Martin. A precision achromatic lens system maximizes th
Commenting on the company’s move into new and competitive market sectors, Simon Beesley, European product manager, states: "The UWP Series represents a big step forward as it introduces Sony wireless options to customers we haven’t catered to before. Although specified for a cost conscious market, UWP clearly reflects the inherent quality of Sony wireless systems, based on years of professional experience."
Consisting of five core elements - a lavalier microphone and bodypack transmitter, a wireless handheld microphone, a portable tuner, a half-
Held on Sunday, 23 March, WrestleMania XIX was the largest event ever held at SAFECO Field and the first major show (BETA test show) for the Maxxyz in the US. The overall lighting rig was made up of 16 large truss-structures of varying shapes and contained a mixture of automated (MAC 600, MAC 2000 Profile, Atomic 3000 Strobe) and conventional lighting and was controlled by multiple consoles. In the future, the need for this kind of arrangement will be replaced by a Maxxyz network system (either a single console or multiple consoles). Additional automated lighting was placed on stage and on a special entrance ramp.

A super-narrow PC-lens option offers 12° field angle optics suitable for long-throw applications. This narrow angle option has recently been used at the Palms hotel in Las Vegas, ensuring an even distribution of light across the 100-metre high hotel. A super-wide prismatic lens is also available, offering 100° field angle optics suitable for short-throw applications. This lens option is available for both the Exterior 600 and the Exterior 600 Compact.
Both lens options are highly effective front glass replacements with efficiency ratings of approximately 48%. Neither the Super-Narrow nor the Super-Wide option offers zoom functionality.
