General manager Simon Wood comments: "The difficulty has been that our services and hire stock have expanded so massively and we have struggled to keep all our customers up-to-date with the changes. The new structure, with direct access phone numbers and named team members, whose contact details will be posted on the website, should ensure that customers get the support and advice they need from the right person for them." The new website will be updated monthly with news and photographs of recent events, installations and additions to the hire stock.
The Hire & Sales team will be headed by former Theatre Royal technical manager Richard 'Rigsby' Macrow. Production Solutions, meanwhile, which will offer a one-stop consultation, project management, installation and operation service for all event organizers, production companies and end-user clients, will be headed up by general manager Simon Wood. The Installations team, with Simon Ling and John McAlonan at the helm, is currently working with Centre Parcs on the re-development of the sports and entertainment complex at their Elvedon Forest property.
