Frank Zaayer, one of Sound Projects' senior designers, told us: "Since we could not be amongst the first on the market, we were determined to develop the best line-array system physically possible, naturally including the obligatory iso-phase wavefront control and cabinet shape that guarantees uninterrupted wave fronts and minimal losses for all frequencies - a combination of demands thus far only obtained by two or three manufacturers."
Zaayer continues: "Many sleepless nights and prototypes later, we ultimately got the vertical high frequency directivity right with help of the Wave-Shape-Transformer -
The flagship of the RMX Series, the RMX 5050 has a three-tier, Class H design - and due to component upgrades boasts 25% higher peak power than its smaller sibling, the RMX 4050HD. It also offers selectable low frequency filters (30Hz or 50Hz) to protect speakers and increase headroom, as well as high-current toroidal transformers for increased 2-ohm power and lower noise.
As with other models in the RMX range, the RMX 5050 features

SoundVu technology allows manufacturers to bring sound and vision together by turning the display screen into a loudspeaker. The technology involves the optimal positioning of exciters at the 'invisible' edge of a screen and the controlled integration of a vibrating screen with the main body of a display product to achieve the best synchronization of image and sound.

Klark Teknik international sales manager Dave Wiggins says: "It's easy to overlook the importance of utility items like DI boxes, but the fact is that a great-sounding DI box is a key element of a great-sounding system. It's all too common to see folks plugging thousands of pounds' worth of keyboards, basses or electro-acoustic guitars into cheap DI boxes and then wondering where their sound went."

Le Maitre also reports that several hire companies have ordered the Stadium Hazer, together with the new Dry Icer Pro, which when coupled with the Speedfogger Pro, was able to carpet the area in white clouds
