The new concept was chosen by PRS for Music, for the British Music Experience at the 02 London.

In a video display that rotates just like a propeller, three PlasMotion screens are installed on truss stands, side by side, and co-ordinate image content and screen rotation to create stunning imagery. PRS for Music used the screens as part of the welcome area leading into the exhibition. The screens display musical connections between famous songwriters, all of whom feature in the main exhibit.

Media content for the LED wall utilised a combination of graphics promoting Tribeca Film, Deluxe, and Panavision. Logos for the three brands were animated into a sequence that played all evening. "The Hippotizer allowed us to sequence and dissolve the graphics using a number of layers," says lighting designer Adam Bassett. New features allow the user to organize editing and playback screens in multiple workspaces. Each workspace allows you to customise a whole environment with multiple views and panes. You can build each one and save/open each workspace separately. Create various workspaces such as live workspace, editing workspace and TOPO workspace.

You can also use the navigation utility when some of the workspaces are not visible due to the length of their name.

Arcstream AV sourced a massive 25m x 10m projection screen which formed a backdrop to the stage set, Hipnose Events used six Barco 20K projectors edge blended to create the image.

Arcstream commissioned Harkness Screens to manufacture the Translite Midnight Rear projection screen, a dark grey screen which produced a stage backdrop,ommiting all ambient light in the venue, as well as giving perfect contrast to the image.

This year, the Grand Prix venue featured a new attraction that was viewed by virtually all who attended: a sprawling EVLED1024SMD 20mm LED video screen from Elation Professional. Leon Hudston joins as project manager UK. Hudston was formerly project manager for P6 UK, where he managed a number of new-build retail projects, including the Desigual store in London's Westfield shopping centre.

Elliot Ryan joins as in-house technician. Ryan was previously technician at the Radlett Centre. Andy Howling (originally TED AV's senior sales engineer) takes on the mantle of project manager overseas. Finally, Mark Morley has been appointed to the board of TED UK as technical director. Morley joined the company in October 2005 to set-up TED AV and continues to head-up the TED AV team.

Poweful, full-colour lasers projected ultrahigh-resolution graphics on movable, black gauze-screens stretched across the stage, creating the impression of giant holograms. The laser finale that followed filled the entire hall.

Water Sculptures has been in collaboration again with celebrated choreographer Kim Gavin and renowned production manager Chris Vaughan, for Take That's Circus stadium tour.

For the band's Back for Good number, performed on the stadium's central satellite "B" stage, a 7m high screen of water appears from jets concealed within the stage floor, which shields the boys from their screaming fans. As they walk into and out of the water screen, the water disappears and re-appears as though by magic.

For the performance Stage Electrics provided two 6 x 4m LED screens, a DMX-controlled Chameleon LED Starcloth, over 100 moving lights including Martin MAC 700s, MAC 600s and Vari-Lite VL2000s. The Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants Conference, produced by Buckmark Productions for the fifth consecutive year, took place at the Ricoh Arena and this year brought together more Whitbread employees than ever before.
