A Redback Wallmount may be specified to be a combination of conventional dimmers and/or relay channels to power LEDs and intelligent lighting fixtures. For example, a 24-channel '"combo" unit provides 18 channels of dimming as well as 6 channels of relay in the same chassis.

In addition, the relay modules can be configured to be switched on or off using DMX512, auto-powered - to improve energy efficiency -- or controlled via a number of other methods in the same fashion that the standard dimming channels may be controlled.

ADB supplied a total of 275 luminaires and 564 ways of Eurorack dimming to the project. A key aspect of the lighting installation design was the near-silent running of the Eurorack 60 dimmer. This feature enabled the design team to wall-mount the dimmers just a few metres from the main lighting bridge, thus significantly reducing the typical cable runs between dimmers and lighting fixtures and, as a result, the cost. The extra budget was then deployed to specify more dimmers, thereby greatly increasing the lighting flexibility of both theatres. Lighting designer Daniel Bocking designed the production with video projections and a rig dominated by 18 Alpha Beam 700s positioned in clusters of three to create a classic rock and roll feel for the band. Nexus provides the ability to convert between the two most popular Ethernet protocols namely ArtNet and Streaming ACN (SACN) and DMX512. Nexus allows users to: merge two universes onto a single port on an LTP or HTP basis by universe or by slot (channel); softpatch across multiple universes; autoswitch between two assigned universes for redundancy purposes and merge two universes and resend these as new ArtNet or SACN stream.

Lighting Design International's (LDI) work on premier office headquarters, The Peak, in London's Victoria, has been shortlisted in the Exterior Lighting category. Along with architect, Shephard Robson, and installers, Emcor, Architainment supported LDI as it worked to transform the site's identity. Following a bespoke mock-up of the cladding, LDI specified approximately 700 fixtures of Philips Color Kinetics iColor Cove MX Powercore to light up the outside of the building.

Mill Bridge, a charming wooden bridge used by cyclists and pedestrians alike, is located just outside the city centre of this northern Swedish town. The Municipality of Kramfors sought not only to secure the bridge at night and increase safety across the popular pathway but looked to reveal the beauty of the bridge with an aesthetic nighttime illumination.

Nine 300mm IP66-rated Tripix luminaires are mounted on the underside handrail on each side of the bridge. The Tripix 300 uses single lens tricolor RGB color mixing - a colour wash system that projects a more uniform wash of colour across a surface.
