USA - EAW announced today the appointment of Mary Cook to the position of Application Support Group (ASG) Manager. Cook brings to EAW more than 15 years of experience in professional audio system design, installation and engineering, having worked for such companies as Ascom North, Al Nalli Music/Creative Audio and the Bose Corporation.

In her new role as ASG Manager, Mary will be responsible for coordinating EAW's worldwide system design support services that are offered to all distributors, dealers, consultants, and facility managers. She will also directly manage the ASG personnel in Whitinsville as well as support all international ASG personnel. Cook will be located in EAW's Whitinsville, Massacusetts office.

UK - Automation designers and engineers Kinesys has expanded its closely knit team with the addition of Martin Honeywill as senior design engineer, who joins founders Dave Weatherhead and Andy Cave at the South London HQ.

Honeywill has worked with Unusual Rigging for the last 12 years and before then, with various lighting companies since his graduation from Keele university in 1985 with a BSc in Electronics and Computer Engineering.

Kinesys' Weatherhead and Honeywill originally met whilst the former was also working at Unusual after leaving University. Honeywill headed up the automation department, and Weatherhead was there for four years before leaving to go freelance and then on to form Kinesys.

USA - Northern Sound & Light (NSL), a nationally recognized audio and lighting products dealer with a thriving Internet presence, recently hired Christopher Cleary to its professional sales staff. Cleary joined NSL from Hollowood Music and Sound of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he served on the retail sales team. USA - Larry Kellerman, director of PRG's Permanent Installation Group, has died of a heart attack. Kellermann was a long-time lighting industry member, having begun his career in the early 1950s at Century Lighting, the predecessor of Strand Lighting He was named CEO in 1973. Kellermann left Century in 1974, opening his own manufacturer's rep agency. Over the next 20 years, his company worked on more than 600 Broadway shows, including Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, and Miss Saigon. He also worked on many installation projects, including ABC's Good Morning America stiudio, the network's Nightline studio, the Mister Rogers' Neighborhood studio for PBS, and others. He also worked as a construction coordinator and project manger for Tishman construction, Morse Diesel, ITT Sheraton, Princess Hotels, JWP, CBS-TV, ABC-TV, and Hilton Hotels.

Gary Reilly brings to Loud more than 25 years' experience in engineering and product development, working most recently as the senior director of product pevelopment at Qualcomm. Prior to Qualcomm, Reilly held key product development and engineering positions at Cubic, Spectrum Control, Advanced Technology Laboratories and Data I/O.
