The JTS 8010D is a single-channel UHF diversity system, which the company says is fully legal for use throughout the UK, without need of a licence. Operating on one of a choice of three fixed UHF frequencies (863.125, 863.75 and 864.725) it comes in a sturdy metal case and in four versions: with a robust handheld dynamic JTS microphone/transmitter, as a lavalier mic system with beltpack transmitter, as a headworn mic system or a guitar transmitter, both of the latter supplied with clip-on beltpack transmitters.

Like its predecessor, the MMA-4XR will be a minimalist microphone preamplifier designed to provide integrity and transparency. Each channel will have controls for gain (60dB in 3dB steps), phase invert, cut (mute) and 48V phantom power.
