UK - Genie Industries has introduced the Super-Straddle accessory redesign. The Super-Straddle is an attachment that allows operators to mount a Genie AWP Super Series personnel lift above obstacles such as fixed seating in theatres, auditoriums and convention centres.

It provides 'up and over' access for the Genie AWP Super Series to be used in spaces that are otherwise inaccessible and hard to reach. Now available in all markets worldwide, the new Genie Super-Straddle was redesigned to meet the latest ANSI A92.3 standards and is CE compliant, the company says.

UK - Monacor UK has announced its latest range of cost-effective solid-state fixtures for its expanding img Stage Line. LED replacements for many of the conventional entertainment spots are now available - including the 'Flower' effect that was introduced in the mid-1980s, the company says.

Monacor's RGBL-40DMX 'Flower' is a space-filling dot pattern effect using the RGB colour mix (plus white) to produce high luminous intensity in different colour combinations. USA - Digital Projection International (DPI) received a product excellence award at InfoComm 08. The company's Titan 500 received the Best Video Projection Product/High Lumen award on the basis of a readers' poll conducted by Rental & Staging magazine.

Neutrik is one of many companies in the industry which has suffered from the presence of cheap quality, illegal product copies appearing on the market. Besides legal measures which Neutrik takes against the counterfeiters, the company has taken this further step in innovation to clearly distinguish its products from copies.

Together with U-NICA security systems, Neutrik developed a unique hologram technology (Intragram). The hologram in the form of the Neutrik logo and the Neutrik writing can now be found on selected Neutrik products, allowing users to easily identify if they are using an original Neutrik product.
