UK - Sennheiser UK has announced that Peter May has joined the company as sales and marketing director. May joins Sennheiser after 10 years as channel sales director for Philips.

"I'll be working with the sales and marketing teams to build on the good work that's being done already to grow the business in a structured manner," says May. USA - Meyer Sound has announced the appointment of John McMahon to the newly-created position of executive director of digital products. McMahon's new position reflects Meyer Sound's continually expanding commitment to the development and integration of its digital products line.

Nield joins PSCo from Avanti Screenmedia where he held the role of operations director for three years. UK - Hawthorn has announced the appointment of Richard Chilvers and Derek Wilson to its expanding sales and installations team.

Richard Chilvers re-joins Hawthorns after a seven- year gap, during which time he fine tuned his skills as a venue technician and later in a sales role.

France - Jérôme Quadri from Avignon, France, is the winner of the Sennheiser Sound Logo Contest. The international jury and the public voted the 31-year-old's sound logo the best of over 2,000 entries.

Sennheiser launched the competition in January. Since then, more than 600 entrants sent in sonic logos and a total of 2,300 people chose their favourites in an online vote.

Germany - Deborah Jackson has been appointed sales and system engineer for CCS and ACT products. Based in the UK, Jackson will complete the tech support team, covering Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA regions).

Jackson will be responsible for all tech-related issues regarding CCS (Critical Communication Systems) and ACT (Advanced Communication Technology) products. As sales and system engineer, she will work on the integration of products into existing systems, as well as the development and installation of new ones.

USA - J. R. Clancy continues its ongoing expansion with the addition of two people to its technical and mechanical design staff.

Shannon Sullivan joins J. R. Clancy as a technical designer, with responsibility for both manual and motorised rigging projects. Sullivan comes to Clancy from Syracuse Stage, where she served as a scenic carpentry apprentice.

Micah Ascano comes to Clancy as a mechanical designer, working on standard production lines with the goal of making products and parts more efficient and easier to use.
