Italy - Proel Group will have a strong presence at the Show Way Professional Entertainment Technology Exhibition 2011 in Bergamo (15-17 May).

The Proel Group professional team will be giving presentations and holding workshops on several high-end product lines - Axiom, Edge, Turbosound, Powersoft, Sagitter and Beyerdynamic - and will be available on site to provide information on the products displayed.

The team will be introducing Sagitter's moving lights - the Compact Series - with its Arrow 300 Beam featuring the new patented 'Beam Focus' system, along with a new technology for Proel Axiom systems and many new installation solutions from Turbosound.

UK - The black boxes for which d&b is noted are now being joined by a new White range of integration loudspeakers. A selection from each d&b world will be on show in separate yet typically black or white sections of their stand on 15 and 16 June.

The established T10 and B4-SUB will take their place alongside the new 4S and 10S/D from the White range.

The d&b Remote network and ArrayCalc will also be featured as well as information on the extensive education programme. d&b will also be participating in the seminar programme.

UK - A.C. Entertainment Technologies enjoyed a busy and successful PLASA Focus exhibition in Leeds, at which the company showcased several innovative new lighting solutions from the brands it distributes - including Jands, Chroma-Q and GLP.

A team of staff from AC-ET's specialist lighting, audio, rigging and video sales divisions were on hand to discuss the vast, multi-million pound stockholding of over 200 leading brands available from the company's High Wycombe and Leeds offices, and the super-fast round the clock service and support for which the company is renowned.

Jonathan Walters, sales director for A.C. North, comments, "We had a really good show, with the new products on our stand attracting plenty of traffic and interest as it was the first UK appearance for many of them."

Sweden - Microphone manufacturer Milab has announced the latest addition to the VM-44 range - a supercardioid interchangeable capsule. The new capsule has been designed to provide the same natural sound that has made the VM-44 range the best selling Milab ever, and it can be purchased as a separate capsule or bundled with one of the three amplifiers in the VM-44 system - the VM-44 Classic, VM-44 Link or VM-44 Gooseneck. Previously available are the VM-44 Cardioid and VM-44 Omni capsules, says the company.

UK - Pulsar, the UK-based developer and manufacturer LED lighting and lighting control solutions for professional entertainment and architecture installations, has launched the Pulsar Wireless DMX Transmitter and Receiver, to provide "an extremely cost-effective and flexible solution for interconnecting industry-standard DMX controllers and fixtures".

Using the latest W-DMX G4 technology, the PWDMX modules can transmit/receive a full 512-channel universe and are compatible with all DMX512 equipment. Effective range is typically 100m, with up-to 250m possible in applications with a clear line of sight. A long-range antenna is also available.

UK - PixelRange has reported a very successful PLASA Focus trade event. The brand was represented in both halls, on stand with parent company James Thomas Engineering Ltd as well as that of recently-appointed PRG Distribution, who now act as the Master European Distributor for PixelRange.

Italy - Following the launch of its new range of LED luminaires in Frankfurt last month, Italian manufacturer SGM reports that the reaction to its unique X-5 white strobe - billed as "the world's first professional LED strobe" - has been so strong that the company has increased its scheduled production in order to meet the demand.

The white light X-5 was previewed as part of SGM's streamlined new range. "We believed the concept of an LED strobe would revolutionise the market - but even we had not anticipated this level of response from lighting designers and the global rental community, or the large number of orders we would receive," says SGM's commercial director, Giorgio Radice.

UK - The Bose Professional Systems Division has introduced the RoomMatch series of array module loudspeakers and PowerMatch PM8500 configurable professional power amplifier. Using new Bose technologies and innovative designs, these products are designed for venues including arenas, performing arts centres, and houses of worship.

The new WildSun 500 has a factory installed W-DMX receiver. It's the first compact 4:1 zoom LED wash moving-head luminaire which provides a 10,000 lumen beam, advanced 4 in 1 RGBW full colour mixing and efficient 11° narrow beam.
